Admin Corner

By Daria McCulloch

Hi all,

Welcome back to another edition of the Admin Corner!

As we move through the year, we would like to remind families of two important enrolment processes that are currently underway at our school:

2027 Prep Enrolments

We are currently in the process of receiving enrolments for our 2027 Prep Cohort. With our Prep Transition Program scheduled to commence in early September, this is a timely reminder to ensure that you have submitted your child’s 2027 Prep application, if you have a child who is age-appropriate to commence school next year. This will ensure our school can plan as effectively as possible for our upcoming transition program, the 2027 Prep classes and ensures that your child will not be at risk of missing out on a place in our 2027 Prep cohort. We politely ask that all 2027 Prep applications be submitted by Friday the 31st of July.  Enrolment forms can be provided at the school office or downloaded from the school website.

Additionally, applications this year can now also be made online from https://students.educationapps.vic.gov.au/s/

More information can be found https://www.vic.gov.au/enrolling-foundation-prep with a quick reference guide also found at https://www.glenps.vic.edu.au/source/QRG_Digital_Enrolment_Parent_Carer_Guide.pdf

This process is particularly important for families seeking 2027 Prep enrolment at our school. Please feel free to share this information with anyone you know who may be considering applying.

 Year 6-7 Transition 2027 Placement

Currently underway at our school is the statewide 2026 Year 6–7 Transition Process. Thank you to all families for returning their child’s application form. We have now begun the placement process and are working to place students as high as possible on their preference lists. This process will continue until 24 June, when Year 6 families will receive notification from our school regarding their child’s placement.  Acceptance Slips will be included with this notification, along with information about the next steps and any actions families may need to take.

If you have any questions regarding any of the above processes, please feel free to contact the office, as we are always happy to help.

Kind Regards

Daria McCulloch – Office Manager
