District Cross Country

On Friday 15th May, Greenvale Primary School was proudly represented by 56 students at the Greenvale District Cross Country Carnival. Students from Years 3–6 competed against eight other schools in a fantastic day of racing and sportsmanship. Students were grouped by age, with 9 and 10-year-olds competing in a 2km event, while the 11, 12 and 13-year-olds competed in a 3km race.

Students had the opportunity to qualify for the Division Cross Country event by finishing in the top 12 of their race. We are thrilled to announce that 22 students from Greenvale Primary School qualified for the next stage of competition.

We are incredibly proud of all students who participated throughout the day. They demonstrated outstanding resilience, excellent sportsmanship and represented our school with respect and responsibility. Congratulations to everyone involved, and we look forward to seeing our qualifying students compete at the Division Cross Country event.
