Maths Activities

Last week, the Year 4 students were busy completing hands-on maths related activities around the school. This time, they were challenged to calculate the perimeter and area of different sporting zones within the school grounds. Throughout the task, students used formal measuring tools and applied their knowledge of addition and multiplication to solve problems accurately.

Afterwards, students were invited to design their own version of the school playground and calculate the area and perimeter of the different zones they created. The students demonstrated high levels of creativity, collaboration, and mathematical thinking while completing this engaging activity.
