Principal's Report 

 We, at Miners Rest Primary School, would like to acknowledge the Wadawurrung people of the Kulin Nation.

We pay our respects and thank the Wadawurrung people. May we share your land. We promise to look after it, as well as the animals and people too.

Gymnastics

We are very excited to be offering a Foundation to Year Six Program this term at school. Supported with coaches and quality equipment in our beautiful gymnasium, the program will support all children across the school with targeted teaching and enhance an already quality Physical Education Program.

Open Afternoon

Our Book Week Parade and Book Week celebrations will take place on Friday, August 28. To conclude this special day, the school will be hosting a schoolwide Open Afternoon. Families are encouraged to take the time to stay for assembly and/or visit classrooms in the afternoon to engage in some special learning celebrations.

Student-Led Conferences

A reminder to all of our families that Student Led Conferences will take place on September 16. Students only come to school on this day to attend their conference with their family. Student Led Conferences will commence at 12:00pm and conclude at 7:00pm. Bookings will open in the coming weeks - families will be notified when bookings are open.

Assembly
