Year 7 Placement Acceptance Forms - Government Schools Only

Due by: August 11th 2026

Dear Year 6 parents and families,

This is a friendly reminder to please return your Year 6 child's relevant placement acceptance forms for Year 7 in 2027. These forms were provided to students to take home at the end of Term 2 and are an important part of confirming your child's secondary school placement for next year.

To assist us with processing placements in a timely manner, we kindly ask that completed forms be returned to the school as soon as possible. If you have already returned your child's forms, please accept our thanks and disregard this reminder.

If you require a replacement copy, please find the forms attached to this post. Alternatively, hard copies are available from the Administration Office and can be collected during school hours.

If you have any questions or require assistance with completing the forms, please do not hesitate to contact the school.

Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter and for your ongoing support.

Foundation Enrolments for 2027 Now Open

We are pleased to advise that Foundation (Prep) enrolments for 2027 are now open.

Families wishing to enrol their child can submit an enquiry through our website or visit the Administration Office for further information and enrolment packs.

Please note that enrolment applications are due by 31 July 2026.

We look forward to welcoming our future Foundation students to our school community.

Lost Property Reminder

To help us keep track of students' belongings and return any misplaced items quickly, we kindly ask all families to ensure that all items brought to school are clearly named, including hats, jumpers, drink bottles and lunchboxes. Please remember to check names regularly, as labels and permanent marker can fade or wear away with washing and daily use.

Additionally, we have noticed an increasing number of toys and valuable personal items being brought to the office after being lost or misplaced. To minimise disappointment and avoid items going missing, we encourage students to leave valuable possessions and special toys at home.

Thank you for your support in helping us keep lost property to a minimum.

Needing to collect your child early?

No worries! We kindly ask that you contact the office ahead of time if you need to collect your child early from school. Providing advance notice helps our administration staff prepare and ensure the process runs smoothly.

We also ask that you arrive at least 5 minutes prior to your planned collection time. This allows staff time to notify your child, have them gather their belongings, and bring them to the office so you can leave on time.

If you need to collect your child during a recess or lunchtime break, please arrive 10 minutes prior to your intended collection time. This gives staff sufficient time to call your child via the school communication system and allows your child enough time to collect their belongings and make their way to the office.

Thank you for your cooperation and support in helping us maintain a smooth and efficient process for all families.

Running late to school?

If your child arrives at school after the morning bell, we kindly ask that you visit the Administration Office to sign them in using our iPad. If you're unsure how to use the system, don't worry. Instructions are displayed next to the iPad, and our administration staff are always happy to assist.

Once signed in, your child will be provided with a late pass and supported to make their way to class. We kindly ask that parents remain in the foyer and allow students to walk to their classroom independently. This helps build confidence, responsibility and independence in our students.

Thank you for your support in helping us maintain a smooth start to the school day.
