Boarding News

Thank you for another wonderful term.

Term 3 is always the busiest term, and this term saw us attending many activities including sport, sport and more sport, assessments and block exams.  Well done to all students for their dedication to their studies and thank you to our staff for their support and commitment to our boarders, in particular during my marketing and Cambridge trips, and current leave of absence.

Our Food Committee met with Chartwell’s last Wednesday evening to pass on boarders’ input with meal delivery.  All boarders were excited to celebrate the evening with a Mexican themed dinner and enjoyed the pinata and the goodies inside. Chartwell’s will be providing a BBQ dinner to celebrate the end of term.

Boarders’ return day for Term 4 is Sunday 29 September. Staff will be in-house from 6:30am on this day with all students due back by 4:00pm.  Please be mindful of the uniform policy upon their return from holidays: natural coloured hair (one colour only); no acrylic nails; no fake tans; no false eyelashes; and no other piercings other than one hole in each ear lobe.

Good luck to our Year 12 students who will be attending their trial ATAR exams in the second week of the school holidays.

As the term ends, please be reminded for future flight plans for your children for the end of Term 4 that the Boarding House will close on Thursday 29 November at 4:00pm.  If your child’s flight is after this time, we are happy to make homestay arrangements for you. The Boarding House can only guarantee airport drop off and pickups on boarder travel day.

Happy holidays!
