Week 7
What a fantastic Week 7 we have had at OSHClub! Our Inventors Lab theme has continued to bring plenty of creativity, curiosity and experimentation to the program, with children enjoying a range of exciting science-inspired activities throughout the week.
Our Breakfast Club was a delicious way to start the day, with children enjoying fruit skewers, waffles, yoghurt cones, cinnamon sugar muffins and French toast. For Snack Squad, we enjoyed chicken noodles, spaghetti, sushi, fried rice and a warming bowl of pho noodle soup!
Our science and creative activities kept everyone busy and encouraged children to experiment, design and create. This week, children made Hama bead DNA models, created colourful crayon resist drawings, designed their own clay monsters and aliens, experimented with watercolours, created STEM rocket ship crafts, made playdough as part of a fun experiment, and explored different techniques through 3D textured painting.
There was also plenty of movement and active play throughout the week! Children enjoyed games of Octopus, frisbee activities, parachute games, basketball, Gaga Ball, limbo and hula hoop throw. The junior and senior playgrounds were also popular spaces for children to play, explore and spend time with their friends.
Everyone has also been absolutely loving our new couches! They have quickly become a favourite space for children to relax, chat with friends and get comfortable. Of course, they have also inspired plenty of imaginative play, with children enjoying creating forts and cosy spaces together!
Thank you for another wonderful week at OSHClub! We can't wait to see what Week 8 brings!
Holiday Program
Our September Holiday Program is just around the corner, and we have an exciting two weeks of adventures planned! From wildlife encounters, reptile shows and a petting zoo to the Royal Melbourne Show, Gumbaya World and a special movie excursion, there will be plenty of fun for everyone. We also have creative make-and-take activities, STEM experiences, cooking and animal-themed games planned throughout the holidays. Accessing After hours
For the safety of all families, we ask that parents and carers enter and exit through the side pedestrian gate next to Reception when collecting children after hours, rather than through the reception area. This designated access point provides a safer route to the OSHC service and helps minimise the need for families to walk through areas that may not be supervised or accessible after school hours. Thank you for supporting our commitment to maintaining a safe environment for everyone.
Enrolling Your Child
For new enrolments, please go to https://www.oshclub.com.au/register/

Please note: CRN numbers and all birth dates must be entered correctly if you wish to claim the Child Care Subsidy. CCS applications are submitted automatically to Centrelink when new enrolments are actioned.
Bookings
Online bookings for Rise then Shine and Stay and Play sessions close 24 hours in advance. Online bookings for the Holiday Program and Curriculum Days close 5 days in advance.
If online bookings have closed, and you would like to make or cancel a booking, please SMS the program phone on 0427 144 945.
Cancellation of Bookings
IMPORTANT: If your child is booked in for an afternoon Stay and Play session and that booking is no longer required, please cancel the booking on the iParent Portal. If you are cancelling on the day, please contact us on the program phone before 3:25pm to avoid a non-notified absence fee of $20.00 per child.
We are responsible for all children booked into our care. If a child does not arrive after school care when booked in to attend, we will need to confirm the whereabouts of the child by contacting parents/guardians and emergency contacts. If we cannot successfully do this, it then becomes a missing child incident.
As you can imagine, this can be very stressful!
