It has been a joyful and hope-filled few weeks at Marian College as we’ve celebrated the many ways our students, staff, and families bring life and energy to our community.

We recently farewelled our Class of 2025 with a beautiful Graduation Mass and Family Dinner,  a fitting celebration of their Marian journey. Their final week was filled with laughter, colour, and heartfelt moments, as the whole school gathered for dress-ups, breakfast, and a special assembly. The warmth in the room, the gratitude in their speeches, and the pride on every face captured what makes our community so special.

The VCAA examination period has begun, we encourage our students to draw on everything they have learned throughout their studies. This is not only a test of subject knowledge, but also of focus, perseverance, and self-belief. We remind our Year 12 students to make the most of the support and expertise of their teachers by attending the revision and preparation sessions offered before each exam. We hold our Year 12 students in our thoughts and prayers during the exam period and step confidently into the future.

Our celebrations continued with a wonderful focus on Creativity and the Arts. From the Year 11 Theatre Studies performance of Clue and the Year 9–10 Musical Theatre Afternoon, to the Flourish Design, Art & Technology (DAT)  Exhibition. Each event reflected imagination, collaboration, and courage, values that lie at the heart of learning at Marian. The College was alive with colour, applause, and community spirit, reminding us how the arts connect and inspire us all.

On the last day of last term 3, we shared in the joy of Brigidine Day, a highlight of our calendar. The day brought laughter, reflection, and a true sense of belonging as we celebrated the legacy of St Brigid and the Brigidine Sisters. From the lively activities to the beautiful liturgy, it was a day filled with Strength and Kindness, a living expression of what it means to be part of the Marian family.

I am deeply grateful for the spirit that continues to unite us,  a community that celebrates, supports, and inspires one another every day.
