Cross Country Carnival 2026 - Monday 23 March
3-6 Cross Country
The Roselea PS 3-6 Cross Country will be held on Monday 23 March at Carlingford Oval. The event will commence at 9:15am and is expected to conclude at approximately 11:00am. All students in years 3-6 will participate and students in year 2 (turning 8 this year) are invited to participate.
Courses:
• 2 km for 8, 9 and 10 year olds
• 3 km for 11, 12 and 13 year olds
K-2 Cross Country
The Roselea PS K-2 Cross Country will be held on Monday 23rd March on Roselea PS Oval. The event will commence at 11:30am, with our end time set for approximately 1:00pm. All students in K-2 will participate, with the exception of those Year 2 students turning 8 this year that would like to compete in the 3-6 carnival.
What to bring:
• Students are to wear their full sports uniform on the day.
• Drink bottles, hats and sunscreen.
• Students with asthma must bring their medication.
• Studded shoes or spikes are not allowed. Waffle shoes are permitted.
Parents and Carers are welcome to attend and spectate at these events. We would love some help! If you are interested in volunteering to assist on the day, please complete and submit the volunteer form here.
In the case of wet weather, the back up date is Monday 30th March.
If you do not wish for your child to participate, please email the school.
Brekkie with a Techie
You are invited to attend Brekkie With A Techie: Parenting and Digital Devices
When: 8:15 am, Thursday 26 March 2026
Where: School Library
Join us for coffee and pastries while engaging in an important discussion with our staff—Mrs Bryant, Mr Chong, and Mr Love—about managing digital devices and social media use at home. They will provide practical advice and strategies to support your child’s healthy relationship with technology.

K-2 Easter Hat Parade
Our K-2 Easter Hat Parade is fast approaching! The event will be held on Thursday, 2nd April at 9:15am. Please remember that Easter hats need to be created at home and brought to school on the day. We look forward to seeing your creative designs and celebrating together!
Eye Tests at Roselea
The school is pleased to announce that the Student Eyecare Program for Kindergarten will be running at the school in Week 11, Term 2. An optometrist will be onsite during school hours to provide students with a free comprehensive eye examination that is covered through Medicare Australia. 1 in 6 students have eye conditions that go undetected. Every student will receive a full report about their eye health and a prescription will be provided if glasses are required. The prescription can be taken to any optical store to get the glasses made. Don’t miss out on this wonderful opportunity.
