Extra-Curricular at MAG

Congratulations to the Production Show Band!
A huge congratulations to the MAG Show Band following their fantastic performances at the Paramount Theatre last week! After months of practice, learning and rehearsing their set, the Show Band opened each performance of our school production of Mary Poppins Jr., helping to warm up the audience before what was undoubtedly an outstanding and professionally presented production.
The band students performed with confidence, energy and professionalism, and it was wonderful to see their months of hard work come together on stage. A very well-deserved congratulations to all involved!
Save the Date - 2 SEPTEMBER Springtime Concert 2026
We are excited to confirm that the 2026 MAG Springtime Concert will be held on Wednesday 2 September, 6:15pm–7:45pm in the MPH.
The concert is open to Secondary students performing as solos, duos or trios, as an opportunity to share a polished performance item with the school community.
How to sign up: Students wishing to perform should email Mr Hearn at mhearn@moamagrammar.nsw.edu.au with:
- Full names of all students involved
- Instruments being played
- Song name (must be appropriate lyrically and thematically)
Performance length – under 3.5 minutes
The performing student list will be finalised on Wednesday of Week 6, so students considering an item are encouraged to get in touch as soon as possible.
Springtime Concert provides a fantastic opportunity for students to set themselves a musical goal, practise towards an outcome and share their hard work with an appreciative audience. Last year's concert was an enormous success, with many memorable performances and highlights from our talented students.
We strongly encourage our Secondary musicians to take this opportunity to perform, celebrate their progress and share their music!
