Extend at EHS

Melbourne Writer's Festival:  VCE Program

On Friday, selected students attended the Melbourne Writer's Festival VCE Program. 

Throughout the day, students heard from beloved poet, author and activist Tony Birch, acclaimed poet and novelist Maxine Beneba Clarke, and award-winning memoirist Alice Pung, and had the opportunity to participate in a series of interactive workshops. 

Students who attended on the day are from Year 9 - 10 and are part of our EHS Extend Program. This workshop day is part of the program that has been developed to ensure that we are challenging and enriching our program for these students who are operating well above the expected level in the English domain.
