Green Team.
Term Four. Week Two.
We have had such a wonderful harvest of our potatoes. It was so enjoyable for our students pulling out the green stalks and discovering all the hidden potatoes.
The spinach and silver beet plants are also growing strongly, and we have harvested some of these as well. Our carrots have sprouted and, although very little, will continue to grow.
Next week we are planting tomatoes and we are hoping for a big crop of these towards the end of this term.
The Green Team students have worked very hard this year. They have planted, watered and tended to the plants with such care, commitment and dedication. It has been such a pleasure to be in the garden and school grounds with these students. I thank them sincerely for all their hard work.
