Welcome Back to Term 4
Welcome back to the final term of 2025. We hope everyone had a restful break and is feeling recharged for an exciting and productive Term 4. This term is always a special one at Le Page, full of learning, celebration, and community spirit as we wrap up another wonderful year together. Our students have returned with great enthusiasm, ready to take on new challenges and finish the year strong. Teachers have planned a variety of engaging learning experiences and events to ensure Term 4 is memorable for all.
Year 3 & 4 Camp – Woorabinda Adventure
This week, our Year 3 and 4 students enjoyed an unforgettable experience at Woorabinda Camp. From bushwalking and canoeing to teamwork challenges and campfire songs, the students demonstrated resilience, independence, and leadership throughout their stay.
Teachers were incredibly proud of how students represented Le Page Primary with enthusiasm, kindness, and cooperation. Many lifelong memories were made, and friendships strengthened. A big thank you to our dedicated staff and especially Jarrod Bradley who supported the campers and made this experience possible.
Grandparents & Special Persons Afternoon
Today, Le Page Primary School proudly hosted its Grandparents & Special Persons Afternoon. Around 80 grandparents, parents and significant others joined us for this special occasion, filling our classrooms with smiles, laughter, and connection. Visitors enjoyed taking part in classroom activities, spending quality time with students, and exploring our vibrant school environment. It was a heart-warming afternoon that celebrated learning, family, and community, a truly memorable event for everyone involved. A big thank you to Narelle Diggins for her wonderful organisation and effort in making the afternoon such a success.
Year 1–2 Cranbourne Gardens Excursion
Next Thursday, our Year 1 and 2 students will enjoy an exciting excursion to the Cranbourne Gardens. Students will spend the day exploring the natural environment, learning about plants, habitats, and sustainability through hands-on outdoor experiences. It promises to be a wonderful day of discovery and learning in the Great Outdoors.
Peter Combe Concert
Next week, students will have the opportunity to attend a Peter Combe concert here at school. This fun and interactive performance will have everyone singing along to well-loved songs and enjoying a morning filled with music, laughter, and energy. It’s sure to be a highlight of the week!
Welcome Back, Ollie!
We are thrilled to have Ollie back, who recently completed a phenomenal performance tour of Beauty and the Beast: The Musical, performing in Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth. What an incredible achievement! Ollie’s dedication and talent have inspired many of our students to dream big and follow their passions in the performing arts. We’re so proud of you, Ollie. Welcome home to Le Page.
2026 Foundation Enrolments
If you have a child starting school in 2026, we encourage you to submit your enrolment forms as soon as possible. Early enrolment helps us plan effectively for classes, staffing, and transition programs. Please visit the school office for an enrolment form or access it online via Compass. We look forward to welcoming our newest learners into the Le Page community.
Habit 2: Put First Things First
At Le Page Primary School, we continue to nurture leadership and self-management through Stephen Covey’s Habit 2, Put First Things First. This habit encourages students to prioritise what matters most, focusing on important goals before distractions and making choices that align with their personal values and vision. We instil this habit in our students by guiding them to write annual mission statements that reflect who they aspire to be and what they want to achieve. Each term, students also set personal and academic goals supported by specific targets and lead measures. These steps help students plan their actions, monitor their progress, and celebrate their achievements. By learning to ‘put first things first,’ our students are building lifelong skills in organisation, focus, and responsibility, essential traits of confident and effective leaders.
