Year 8 student, Lily Johnstone,  won the Poster competition for the Victorian Indonesian Teachers Association.  The theme was to promote cultural investment through Indonesian traditional dance or music.  Lily’s entry was not only beautifully presented, but it also clearly states, ‘The importance of Indonesian culture and keeping it alive’.   Her eye-catching poster competed against over 600 from across entries from across the state. This is the second year Monivae has won the VILTA Poster competition.  Last year, our winner was Ava Kent for her poster depicting the beauty of Indonesia.  The prize was a $60 gift voucher and certificate.  Ayo!  Let’s congratulate and celebrate our students artistic and cultural knowledge!   Lily’s and Ava’s posters are displayed in S6.
