Global Experiences 2027-2028

I’m very pleased to provide an overview of the co-curricular Global Experiences that will be offered to students in Years 10-12 across 2027 and 2028. These are optional experiences and opportunities, enabling global perspectives and supporting the service of others. Across the College, we are committed to expanding extension and enrichment opportunities for students; developing global perspectives is one way in which we do this. Most of the programs have a service component, which is consciously designed to build on the work that students do through the Year 9 Experience.

The suite of opportunities is available here, and I look forward to seeing them unfold over the next two years.

Subject Selection 2027

Thank you to those Senior School parents who were able to come along to the Explore and Emerge Information Night last night. While it seems a long time until 2027, the subject selection and timetabling processes are complex ones, so we like to get started early. Further information regarding how to submit subject selections from Year 9-12 2027 will be emailed to students today. If you have a child in those year levels, please ask them to check that they received the email.

Year 12 2025 and 2026 Parents’ Function

Parents of Year 12s in 2025 and this year are invited to join us for social event on Friday 24 July, commencing at 6:00 pm at The Rox. The losses suffered by these cohorts in the first half of this year have been felt not only by students, but by their families and the broader community as well. The function will be a casual one, and an opportunity for parents to catch up with one another and to continue to build the mutual support which has been evident all year. RSVPs via the Toddle invitation, which will be sent this week.

I hope that all College families have a restful and enjoyable break, and I look forward to the start of Term Three, which for students is Tuesday, 21 July.
