Over the past few weeks, students have made lemon and poppy seed muffins, fried rice, and black bean quesadillas in Food Tech. The quesadillas were a big hit, and many students said they would love to make them again at home. Students are also becoming more confident with kitchen routines, including food preparation, teamwork, and the cleaning process.
In the coming weeks, students will be baking sprinkle crinkle cookies, making white bean stew, and cooking cheese and Vegemite scrolls. All recipes will be available on the school website after students have made them in Food Tech classes.
