Principal Report

Dear Families,

We are now over halfway through Term 2, and it has been wonderful to see all students continuing to work hard both in the classroom and across the school. Students have been demonstrating our school values of Respect, Responsibility and Resilience and are achieving fantastic results collecting School Wide Positive Behaviour tokens. It has been pleasing to see students consistently making positive choices and supporting one another. Keep up the great work everyone!

At this time of year, there continues to be a significant amount of illness circulating within the community. To help keep everyone healthy and well, we kindly ask families to please ensure students remain at home if they are unwell. We appreciate your support in helping reduce the spread of illness throughout our school.

A huge thank you to everyone who supported our recent BBQ fundraiser. The event was a great success and raised valuable funds towards the Grade 6 Graduation celebrations. Thank you to the staff, families and volunteers who helped make the day possible.

Congratulations to Tommy S, Chloe C and Sienne E who represented our school at the Divisional Cross Country event. Students should be extremely proud of their efforts, determination and sportsmanship. They tried their very best and achieved some very pleasing results. Well done to all competitors!

Finally, a reminder to families that Monday 8th June is a public holiday for the King’s Birthday. Students are not required at school on this day. We hope all families enjoy the long weekend.

Thank you for your continued support of our school community.

Warm regards,

Jodie Day
