Athletics
A reminder that Year 2-6 students will be competing in Athletics Trials tomorrow, Wednesday 10 June. Students are to wear their Sport Uniform for the day.
Secondary students will continue with their Field Events during Sport on Thursday.
The Long Jump, Discus and Shot Put events will be qualifying for our full day carnival, with the top ranked students progressing to the final at next weeks Carnival. The High Jump and 1500m events will be run as finals, with our top placed students eligible to represent Holy Trinity at the ACS meet in Term 3.
Gary McSweeney Cup
A huge congratulations to our Primary Rugby Union team, who put on a fantastic display of skill and determination at the Gary McSweeney Gala Day and ACS Rugby Trials in Tamworth last Friday. After an impressive run in the rounds, securing two wins and a draw, the team advanced to the elimination semi-finals, just missing out on a spot in the Grand Final.
Well done to Koby Colley, Hunter Brazier, Ashton Readett, Percy Lee, and Claude Hall, who were all selected thoughout the day to play in the Possibles and Probables match to finish the day, playing for ACS selection.
An special shout-out goes to Percy Lee and Koby Colley, who successfully secured spots in the Armidale Diocesan team! They will be travelling to Forbes later this month to compete. We are incredibly proud of the whole team's efforts!
Polding Touch Trials
This Friday, our representing Primary students - Hunter Will, Hunter Brazier, Harrison Myers, Sienna Bourke, Isabel Caskey, Sloane Garrett and Ava Coleman will take the field in Port Macquarie for the Polding Touch Football trials. This follows their successful selection in the ACS Touch teams earlier this term. We congratulate them on reaching this stage of competition and wish them the very best of luck.
Small Schools Rugby League
Good luck to our Secondary Rugby League teams as they play in the first round of the Small Schools' Rugby League competition next Tuesday.
