2025 Dux
At this year's Commencement Assembly we also congratulated our Huntingtower Dux, Zach Huang (Class of 2025) who achieved an ATAR score of 99.8.
Zachary studied English, Specialist Maths, Maths Methods, Biology, Chemistry and Economics. Zach has chosen to study Medicine at Monash University.
Top Designs 2026 - achievements
We are delighted to begin this term’s Visual Arts update by celebrating an outstanding student achievement. Congratulations to Charlotte Chaung, whose exceptional work has been accepted into Top Designs 2026. Her project responded to a client brief requiring a home-based device designed to enhance user experience and reduce everyday discomfort, while fitting seamlessly into the user’s daily lifestyle. This is a fantastic achievement and a proud moment for our school.
BUFTA Success for Huntingtower Media 2025
We are thrilled to announce that Sophie Lai (Class of 2025) achieved outstanding success at the prestigious BUFTA (Bond University Film & TV Academy) event, winning Best Documentary for ‘Ruth’ and Best Sports Documentary for ‘To The Top’.
In an incredible result, Huntingtower School were also awarded Best School at the event. BUFTA is one of the country’s premier student short film competitions, attracting entries from students both nationally and internationally.

Creative Writing Excellence
We are delighted to celebrate the recent writing success of Victoria Meng of Year 12, with one piece named a finalist in the ISV Poetry Competition, an interschool event run by Independent Schools Victoria, and another earning third place nationally in the Insight Creative Writing Competition. This year’s Insight competition was the largest on record, with a longlist announced in October, a shortlist in late October, and winners revealed live at the December awards ceremony. These results are a wonderful recognition of Victoria's creativity and dedication to their craft.
