The Cottage Opening

It was wonderful to officially open our new Reception, The Cottage, on Wednesday 28 January. We extend our sincere thanks to all the families who supported the Brick by Brick campaign and were able to attend and support this special occasion.
The Cottage was officially opened by Principal Shan Christensen, and it was truly special to see so many members of the Huntingtower community, past and present, gathered together to celebrate this milestone. We also thank our honoured guests, Dr Carina Garland MP, Matt Fregon MP, Deputy Mayor Councillor Elisha Lee, and members of the Waverley Historical Society for their support and attendance.
We are delighted to share that the beautiful artworks by Huntingtower alumnus Patricia Weeks, first exhibited at the opening, will now be displayed in the PAC foyer until the end of next week. Her stunning watercolours capture buildings from both the former and current campus and serve as a treasured reflection of Huntingtower’s history. The community is warmly invited to view the display when calling in for school pick-ups and drop-offs.
If you would still like to ‘sponsor a brick’ we would love any contributions to ensure the building is looked after for future generations of Huntingtower.
