Carrum Coast Guard Fun Run 

On Sunday 22 February, Patterson River Secondary College was proudly represented at the Carrum Coast Guard Fun Run, with students, families and staff taking part in both the 6km and 12km events. 

With over 85 entries from our school community, it was fantastic to see such strong participation and school spirit on display. Despite the drizzly, humid conditions, the atmosphere was full of energy, encouragement and community pride. There was plenty of family support along the course, creating a great vibe throughout the morning. 

We were thrilled to celebrate several outstanding individual performances, with students finishing on the podium across both events: 

• Levi M – 1st U17 Boys 12km (56:15) 
• Ashton F – 2nd U17 Boys 6km (21:05) 
• Abigail B – 3rd U17 Girls 12km (1:20:20) 
• Lachlan C – 3rd U17 Boys 6km (22:40) 

A special highlight was our incredible result in the 6km team competition, where Patterson River Secondary College took out first place with an impressive average time of 31:52! 

It was inspiring to see so many members of our school community getting involved, challenging themselves and supporting a fantastic local cause. Congratulations to all participants on a wonderful achievement and for representing our College with pride.
