Foundation/Year 1 

As part of our start to Term 3, and supporting Foundation and Year 1 students in their new classes, we discussed the School Values, how they relate to our shared learning in Art and outlined how we should show kindness to one another. After discussing the Visual Art room expectations, students used coloured pencils to draw a picture showing Kindness, Resilience or Responsibility in the Art room.  From here, students used a piece of paper to design an envelope or folio with their name and class on it as part of developing independence and a storage system for the Art Room. Each student then used pencils and texters to decorate their A3 folio!

Year 2 - 4

In Visual Arts, students continued to discuss the classroom expectations when in the Art Room. Next, students folded a piece of A2 paper, as well as using rulers, glue and pencils to measure and produce a giant envelope or folio to store their artwork. They then designed a fancy font and decorated each folio with their name and class. In addition to this, they included drawings of individual interests. Each student then used pencils and textas to decorate their A3 folio!

Year 5/6
