Semester 1 Academic Awards
Today’s Academic Awards Assembly was an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of our students, from Year 7 through to Year 12, in Semester 1.
The significant numbers of students in each cohort receiving certificates reflects a healthy learning culture in which students set ambitious goals for themselves, and undertake assignments that enable them to showcase their full potential. We acknowledge the hard work that students and teachers put in through last semester in order to achieve such impressive outcomes.
Congratulations to all students whose efforts and grades were celebrated today. I am sure that everyone will be looking to maintain or even improve upon these high standards as they progress through Semester 2.
Year 12 Learning Conversations & SATAC Information
A reminder that next Tuesday from 3.30pm onwards is Year 12 Learning Conversations evening. For parents of Year 12 students, this is an important opportunity to review your child’s progress and clarify priorities and objectives for the remaining ten weeks of study. We strongly encourage you to book appointments; wherever possible, students should also attend and make contributions to the discussions. At 6:00pm, during the dinner break for the teachers, there will be a 30-minute presentation about the SATAC application process. This will cover essential up-to-date information for students wishing to apply for university courses or other tertiary study. We look forward to seeing you at this important school event.
