SRC stalls at Athletics Day

"Athletics day on 4th May 2026 was an excellent opportunity for the SRC and its members to show our enthusiasm to contribute, and help building our school’s spirit, by engaging students and encouraging them to participate across our DSC community. As a member of the preparation team—mini games, I worked with my teammates to plan and organise the activity of tug of war. Although unfortunately the event couldn’t go ahead due to some reasons at that day, the organisational meetings and processes still allowed us to develop key skills such as teamwork, communication, and responsibility.

It’s also fairly rewarding to see students joining together and have fun at other SRC stalls like face painting, which have kept running successfully from morning to the end of the day. The presence of those SRC stalls have made the Aths day more positive and unforgettable.

Overall, the Aths day was a valuable experience, for all SRC members. I feel fulfilled to help contribute to the planning and preparing behind the event, and I’m also so grateful for the help and support provided by our preparation team leader—Joe, as well as two of my teammates—Praneeth and Alivia." - Leo Han
