Physical Education Term 3

This term, students across the school will be developing their skills in soccer and volleyball. Through a range of engaging drills, skill-based activities and team challenges, students will build confidence and improve their techniques before applying their learning in modified games and, for older students, match play.

Grade Prep

Our Prep students will develop the fundamental skills needed for soccer and volleyball through fun games and activities. They will practise kicking, passing, catching, throwing and moving safely in different directions while building coordination, confidence and teamwork.

Grades 1/2

Students in Grades 1 and 2 will build on their fundamental movement skills through a variety of soccer and volleyball drills. They will practise passing, dribbling, kicking and ball control, while learning the importance of communication, cooperation and fair play during small-sided games.

Grades 3/4

Grades 3 and 4 students will continue refining their soccer and volleyball techniques through skill-based drills and activities. As their confidence grows, they will begin applying these skills in modified games, developing their understanding of game strategies, teamwork and sportsmanship.

Grades 5/6

Our senior students will focus on improving their technical skills and tactical awareness in both soccer and volleyball. Through targeted drills and team-based exercises, they will prepare for match play, where they will put their skills, communication and decision-making into practice in a competitive and supportive environment.
