Paddock to Plate
Mrs Bush
I'm amazed that we are already two weeks into Paddock to Plate…and that we still have produce to make, bake and enjoy!
Biggest thank you to Ms Emma Thorley for stepping into Paddock to Plate in the first week back. So glad all students know the flow of our sessions. No doubt all students would have been patient, helpful and happy through the process.
The seniors made zucchini slice and the juniors made apple crumble with Miss Thorley which we all enjoyed the following day together.
During the second week all students made Mars Bar Slice for fun. Juniors wrote the instructions for the slice during literacy time and then we made the slice, scooping the mixture into muffin tins. It worked well. The Year 4-6 P2P session had students working collaboratively in teams to complete a writing and maths task. Teams needed to ensure Mars Bar Slice recipe was read and pasted into their books so that they can make and share this recipe at home. Slice was successfully made and very much enjoyed by staff and students.

24/7/26 - The P2P Champions over the last fortnight are Orlando and Amelia for their patience and leadership; Jett for his enthusiasm, grit in completing team tasks and encouraging his team with their work; and Laylah for bringing joy and organisation into the kitchen and assisting Miss Thorley. So very appreciated!
