Mathematics: In Mathematics, students are continuing to learn to recognise and use different units of time, including days, hours, minutes and seconds. They will estimate and compare how long events take, solve problems involving duration, and develop their understanding of am and pm. Students will also practise converting between different units of time and applying these skills to real-life situations. It would be wonderful if you could practice these skills at home on an analogue clock.
Unit of Inquiry:
We continue our unit of inquiry focusing on peacemaking. The transdisciplinary theme is ‘Sharing the Planet’ and the central idea is Understanding different perspectives and building strong relationships creates peaceful communities and a healthy planet.
