Library News

Hi everyone!
We’ve made it to the final weeks of Term 3! Here’s what’s happening as we wrap things up:
RUOK? Day
This week we recognise RUOK? Day - a reminder that even a simple, “Are you OK?” can make a big difference.
We have a display in the library with some helpful tips and information, along with a number of books on mental health.
Remember: you don’t need to wait for a special day to check in with your friends. Sometimes a quick chat, a smile, or just being there is all it takes.
AFL Grand Final Fever!
The AFL Grand Final is almost here!
We have a number books in our collection about footy history, famous players and sporting resilience.
Just like in footy, reading practice helps you kick goals! And remember - the library is always a safe mark if you need a place to study.
Holiday Reads
Don’t forget – you can borrow extra books for the holidays!
Perfect for:
- Road trips
- Lazy mornings
- Rainy days (there might still be a few……)
- Or just chilling at home
And if you run out of reads, our ebooks and audiobooks are always available online.
Year 12s – Home Stretch!
A special shout-out to our Year 12 students - you’re on the final lap before exams!
The library is here as your quiet study zone if you need space to revise, work with friends, or just focus. You’ve got this - one step at a time.
See You in Term 4!
It’s been a fantastic term of special visitors (did you ever think you would talk to a real astronaut or world-leading physicist?) reading, learning and fun. Have a safe and happy holiday break - and we’ll see you back, refreshed and ready for Term 4.
Happy holidays & happy reading.
