Body Kindness Day

Body Kindness Day is all about being kind to our bodies and feeling good about who we are. It’s supported by the Butterfly Foundation, which helps people learn to love and respect their bodies, no matter what they look like. On this day, we talk about positive body image, how to take care of ourselves, and how to be kind to others too. It’s a great reminder that every body is a good body, and we should treat ourselves with care, confidence, and kindness.

July/August

Plastic Free July & August

Plastic Free July is a time when people all around the world try to use less plastic to help take care of our planet. At school, we learn how single-use plastics, like straws, wrappers, and bags, can harm our oceans, animals, and environment. By saying “no” to plastic and choosing reusable items like drink bottles, containers, and bags, we can make a big difference. Plastic Free July reminds us that small changes in our everyday choices can help create a cleaner, greener world for everyone!

Schools from the City of Glen Eira, Port Phillip, and Bayside all come together to share their ideas, projects, and achievements in making our world a greener, cleaner place.
