Wellbeing

Wellbeing Wednesdays have continued to be a hit with students coming into the Wellbeing Hub to take part in the various activities offered. Dancing, drawing, chilling out with mindfulness and fidget gadgets, knitting, playing board games have been a few of the favourite pastimes.
Two very exciting new ventures are happening next term!
CLUBS
We are commencing some 'clubs' each week on Wellbeing Wednesdays. Students have had a chance to make suggestions of what activities they would like to do. Teachers will host a club after lunch which students can elect to go to for 4 weeks. These will be multi-aged groups where students get the chance to work with a different cohort. We will then have an expo in Week 5 to showcase what they have learnt or produced. They will then participate in a different elective for the next 5 weeks. The various 'clubs' will be decided this week. Stay tuned!...
JUNKY MONKEYS
We are collecting bits and pieces (loose parts) to have available on the shelves next to the back gate. Children can use these 'things' in imaginative play, working together to build, role play and invent. What could you do with a tyre, milk crate and plank? Or what about a PVC pipes, blanket and old telephone.
If you have any of the loose parts listed below at home or cluttering up your shed, please feel free to donate them to our Junky Monkeys' store. ...
