Footy Player Visit!

The Collingwood Players visited for a Q and A - very excting for us all!

What an amazing Term one we have had!

In addition to lots of Numeracy and Literacy in class time we have also completed NAPLAN and Inquisitive Minds. 

Students have all enjoyed Bike Ed and National Ride to School Day. It was so exciting to see students become competent safe riders. Thank you to Monash Council for loaning the Bike Ed Trailer.

Our Team building Day at Melbourne Cable Park was a very worthwhile experience with lots of challenges overcome.

Wellbeing Wednesdays have really taken off - our recent fundraising fun lunches run by the SRC - Toasties and then Hot Cross buns and milkshakes have enabled our school to purchase an outdoor table tennis table- the students have been loving playing tournaments on our under cover table so this will add to the enjoyment.

Students have also been able to go into the Wellbeing Hub on Wednesday lunchtimes and play games, host puppet shows, dance and sing, draw, and do other art activities thanks to Mrs Dennehy.

Our Scarecrow was entered into  the Melbourne Flower and Garden Show and we saw it standing up in style when we had our excursion there last week. Lots of the activities were directly related to all that we do in the SAKG program.

Our School Leaders had a great experience at the Leadership Day in the city - they gave a fabulous report at Assembly.

A huge thank you to all our staff for all the opportunities they provide every day for our young people.

I wish every family a very happy Easter and a wonderful holiday and we are all looking forward to Term 2 with many exciting opportunities.
