My Career Insights Program
On Tuesday 26th March all Year 9 students are invited to participate in the My Career Insights program! Your student will complete a series of online questions and quizzes on the Morrisby website while at school. Students that complete the online profile will receive a Morrisby report and participate in a 30 minute “unpacking” interview with a Morrisby-trained Careers Consultant, who will explain the report. The unpacking sessions will occur in term 2 with a schedule of interviews provided to families. Parents/carers are encouraged to attend this session with your student!
The Morrisby profile will assist Year 9 students to:
- Learn about what skills and abilities they could bring to a job, and
- Find out about what jobs match their abilities, interests and personality, and the subjects they need for those jobs.
Action required - consent form.
Please complete the consent form allowing your student to participate in this important careers program. A compass event has been created for you to provide consent. Students have also been given a paper copy of the consent form to complete and return to school if you prefer.
