Jas Flemming - AFLW Star Visits St Cecilia's

At St Cecilia's this week we were very lucky to have Jas Flemming from Ashy Redbacks

and the AFLW Hawks, come to teach some football skills to Grades 4, 5 and 6. She was fantastic with the kids and I'm sure will have inspired a number of our students to have a go themselves at playing AFL.

The following information is for any family that might be interested in enrolling their children into the new season.

The information below will help register if interested:

We have just implemented a Special Offer for U8-U12 girls. Registrations are now half

price for any new girls wanting to join Ashy! Any interested families can email Caroline, our Registrar, at registrations@ashyredbacks.org.au so that she can provide them with a special registration discount code to welcome the girls (born 2013-2017).

This offer ends Monday 31 March, with Round 1 starting on 6 April.

For ease of reference, please find attached the electronic copy of our current brochure for you to attach to your school newsletter or distribute in any way that would help give any enthusiastic kids the chance to play for us this year.

Running Club Up and Running

Over the last few weeks it has been a real pleasure to join with students from years 3 to 6 on Thursday mornings for the first running club of 2025.

The enthusiasm of a very strong contingent of Year 3 students, joining us for the first time this year has brought a great energy to our sessions.

The focus at running club is squarely on individual improvement, and it has been wonderful to already see students sense growth in their stamina and fitness.

We encourage any and all students from Year 3 to 6 to come along Thursday mornings at any stage to join in some fun and fitness.
