Our carnival will feature a variety of age-appropriate activities designed to encourage participation, teamwork and a love of sports. Students will be able to participate in running races, novelty events, obstacle courses and much more. We are excited to celebrate their enthusiasm and support their physical development in a festive, supportive environment.
Families are warmly encouraged to join us to cheer on the students and share in the excitement. Don’t forget to bring picnic blankets or chairs to make yourselves comfortable!, We encourage everyone to stay hydrated and bring hats and sunscreen for sun protection.
Important reminders:
Please ensure students come dressed in their sports uniforms with appropriate footwear.
Students can represent their house with a House coloured shirt and their regular PE shorts and shoes. Please do not send your child with accessories like feather boas, glitter hats etc. We will allow a small amount of coloured zinc for their face if you would like.
Bring a water bottle and any necessary snacks.
The event will proceed unless severe weather conditions arise; updates will be communicated as needed.
We look forward to a fantastic day of fun, fitness and community togetherness.

Grade 3&4 Hooptime/Basketball
First we hopped onto the bus and went to the State Basketball Centre for our Hoop Time regional finals.
Upon arrival at the stadium there were so many things like cafes and a Gymnastic gym. We went into the stadium and our first game was at 10:20 so we waited for about 15 - 20 minutes. And then it was time for our first basketball game that was on court 9 and unfortunately we lost our first game but it was just the first game!
In our next game we believed in ourselves that we would win as a team! While we waited for our next game, which was in 20 minutes, we had a little snack and made a candy salad. And then it was time for our second game and we WON! We were so happy but if we lose our last game then we won't make it to the basketball semi finals. But as a team we had hoped and we lost our last game but at least we all were competitive and the thing that most matters is that we worked as a team!
After we played and waited for the bus and before we took a photo together then went to the bus and drove back and arrived at school and that was our long journey THE END.
