Year 1
Essex Heights Primary School
Magic Incursion
As part of our Term 3 Integrated Studies unit on Fairy Tales, Year 1 students experienced the joy of a magic show performance by magician Tim Mason from the Melbourne Magic Academy on Monday 28 July.
The Magic Journey incursion
Year 1 students will watch three stories acted out by theatre trained performers from The Flying Bookworm Theatre Company on Friday 5 September. The actors are highly trained, but they are not the stars of the show ... the children are! The Magic Journey program emphasises participation and even puts some of the children in starring roles.
Incursion details have been published on Compass. Please note that CSEF and/or SSB are applicable for this activity, and where available, balances have been applied to the cost of this incursion. Consent, and where applicable payment, are due now and not later than 29 August.
