A message from the PFC Presidents
Thank you so much to everyone who came along to our Parents Night at Oydis!
It was such a wonderful evening full of laughter, music and great company. We loved seeing our school community come together to celebrate and connect, and we’re so grateful you chose to spend your night with us.
A special thank you to Beck, who helped organise the Oydis night and to Elima and Carly, who organised the Kids’ Disco — what an amazing time the kids had, your creativity and effort made both events such a success.
Our next event is the Bendigo Bank Scam Awareness session on Wednesday 27th August — we’d love to see you there. Book your free ticket using the link below or in your Compass News Feed. Bendigo Bank is one of our Platinum Sponsors for Carnival, so let’s show our support and turn out in force.
On Friday 5th September we’ll celebrate Father’s Day with the Treat and Stall — we can’t wait to see lots of dads, grandads and special people there.
And of course … our final PFC event of the year is the Carnival — bring it on!
Finally, a little reminder — all of these events are only possible because of our amazing volunteers. If you can lend a hand, please get involved — it’s the only way we can make them happen!

Secondhand Uniform & Lost Property
We had a successful secondhand uniform sale and donation day on Friday 8 August, raising $662 – valuable funds for the PFC and our school community.
I would particularly like to thank Elima, Carly and Lisa for their help with sorting the lost property so all named items could be returned and for all their assistance with the stall. We would not have been successful without the help of our two mini superstars and models Mia and Mary 🙂
A reminder – please ensure that the items that are donated are clean and in good saleable condition. Any stained or torn clothing will not be accepted.
The second donation day for Term 3 is scheduled for Friday 12 September from 3pm to 3.30pm.

Retro Rewind Disco
🎉🪩 Another spectacular event for Essex Heights last Friday night!
Elima and I would like to thank every single child and parent that attended; what a truly wonderful community we have here at EHPS 🥰
💃🕺 The dance floor raged, the atmosphere was happy, bright and friendly. Man these kids are just the best!
✨ Magnificent work from all those involved, you truly made the magic happen for these kids.
With record numbers attending, we raised over $2300 for our school, and I am just blown away with how great the night turned out.
So thank you again to all those parents that braved the rain and cold, to make some core memories for our kids and that’s what it’s all about.
