Design Technologies 2025

The STEM Centre has seen so many great achievements this year from students of all levels. The Year 12’s completed their amazing pieces of work and folios and also sat their final exams. It is sad to see this group of students finish their time at Patterson River Secondary College as they have been an extremely talented and enthusiastic cohort in a variety of subjects in the Design Technology domain for 6 years. We will miss their incredible creativity. 

Many, many successful pieces of work have now found their way home to a special person or to be put to great use. All of the Design Technology and Digital Technology students have produced meaningful pieces, from the Wood, Metal and Textile classes to the Digital and Systems Engineering students. All have showcased their talents. 

Now with Step Up, new classes have started. New ideas, new enthusiasm and talents have commenced. Orientation Day activities with our new Year 7 students (2026) was a hive of excitement. 

2025 was a great year in the STEM Centre.
