Cultural Diversity Week 

Cultural Diversity Week saw our school community come together to acknowledge and celebrate our diverse backgrounds. We started with a student facilitated assembly, with incredible speeches by our College Captains Jhoanna Mangibin and Adam Tawil, whose words fell on an engaged respectful audience. 

Throughout the day, students engaged in various classroom activities where they developed knowledge and understanding of each other’s culture and traditions. A highlight was the ability for students to showcase food from their country and share with their peers. 

There was definitely a buzz of excitement as we headed into the school gym in period 5, where our MC Adam Tawil hosted our cultural dress parade and interviewed each entrant. 

This day is fast becoming a favourite in the school calendar. Thank you to all students and staff for participating in the day and we can’t wait to do it all again next year!
