Reconciliation Week

Colleen Watt

As part of Reconciliation Week, Monivae took part in the 2025 Schools Reconciliation Walk on Tuesday, 27th May.  It was a public show of unity between our schools, the Winda-Mara Corporation, and the boarder Southern Grampians community organisations.

The walk commenced at Gray Street Primary School and finished at Melville Oval for a gathering and morning tea.  Each school read out their own personal acknowledgment supporting this years’ theme of ‘Bridging Now to Next’.  Monivae College was represented by three students in Issy Perkins, Aiden Stanley and Kerrilee Barker.  All three were able to give a report on the event and their experiences at the school assembly the following day.
