Hello and welcome to this fortnight's newsletter.

I'm reporting live from our school track and field carnival. 

Well, the vibe is exciting. Lots of things are going on. It's an amazing, beautiful sun day. 

The kids have outdone themselves getting dressed up in their house colours and really embracing the house spirit. 

So far this term, we've been as busy as we usually are at the state high school. I hadn't completed the honour of attending Creative Generation where three of our young students represented our school so incredibly well. 

Also, just this week, we had our first LUNCH & LEARN session for engineering. 

It was so great to have alumni Luke Stalley and parent and engineer Amelia North come and speak to more than 50 students about the industry and career progressions of engineers. 

So back to the carnival.
