Middle Learning Community

Year 3
It has been a busy few weeks in Year 3 – At the moment, we are learning Multiplication and Division. It would be great if the children could practise their times tables at home.
The children were very excited for the Colour Fun Run and had lots of fun participating.
Year 4
In literacy, we have completed our book The Wild Robot. We have now started our final novel and unit for the year; the novel is His Name Was Walter by Emily Rodda.
In math's, we have finished our unit on 3D objects. We are now looking at our probability unit where students order events or the outcomes of chance experiments in terms of likelihood and identify whether events are independent or dependent.
On Tuesday, 4AB were selected to attend the Remembrance Day Service at the War Memorial. Chloe laid the wreath on behalf of St Joseph’s Primary School.
Congratulations to our pen licence recipients! It has been wonderful to see the effort and determination these students have shown in developing their joined-up handwriting.
We also congratulate our Athletics Carnival age champions. Evie Russel for 9/10 Females and Bailey Jack for 9/10 Males.
The students thoroughly enjoyed their afternoon today in the Colour Fun Run! It was great to see so many students participating and enjoying the bright and joyful celebration together!
