Mercy Awards
Today the Mercy Awards for ‘Integrity’ were presented. Congratulations to all the recipients.
Our next, and final Mercy Award for the year, will be for showing ‘Excellence’. This award will be presented in week 9.
The Sisters of Mercy demonstrated excellence through their unwavering dedication to serving the poor, sick, and marginalized, particularly women and girls. They provided education, healthcare, and spiritual guidance, expanding their work globally and establishing institutions like schools and hospitals. Their commitment to core values like compassion, respect, and social justice, rooted in the Mercy charism, guided their extraordinary efforts.
Some ways we can demonstrate excellence here at St Joseph’s are:
- consistently striving for high quality work
- taking pride in your accomplishments
- actively seeking opportunities for growth
- having a growth mindset
- being dedicated to improve
- seeking feedback
