From the Principal

On Friday 24 October, we celebrated the graduation of our Year 12 students — a day filled with pride, gratitude, and reflection. The morning began with a reverent and joyful Mass and assembly, where we honoured the journey of our graduands and acknowledged the support of their families, teachers, and peers. That evening, the Graduation Ceremony brought our community together once more, allowing us to mark this important milestone. It was a privilege to witness our Year 12s reach the culmination of their journey, surrounded by their families and the college community, and to share a message that I hope will stay with them as they step into the next chapter of their lives.

In my address, I spoke about the theme “Pilgrims of Hope,” inspired by the Catholic Church Jubilee Year of Hope and the lives of Saints Carlo Acutis and Pier Giorgio Frassati. These two young saints remind us that hope is not passive — it is active, courageous, and transformative. Their lives were marked by compassion, service, and a deep sense of purpose, showing that even the smallest acts of kindness can have a lasting impact. I encouraged our Year 12s to embrace this same spirit as they move forward — to live with integrity, to be signs of hope for others, and to let Christ be their light in times of uncertainty.

Every student who crossed the stage on graduation night was celebrated for their unique contribution to our college community. Whether through academic achievement, leadership, quiet perseverance, or acts of kindness, each one has left a mark on the college. Among them, a number of students were recognised with special awards for outstanding academic excellence and service. These awards highlight individuals who have gone above and beyond in embodying the values we hold dear. I warmly congratulate the following students:

The dedication and character of these students have enriched our college, and I am confident they will continue to inspire others in the years ahead.

As we farewell the Class of 2025, we do so with deep pride in each of them and great hope for all that lies ahead.
