Earth Ed
A special thank you to the staff at Earth Ed in Ballarat....with a special mention to Dayle and our very own Rachael (Miss Feely). Throughout the year, each year level has experienced an incursion and/or excursion to further complement our varied STEM curriculum. The excitement, enthusiasm, engagement, imagination and problem solving during the different programs was wonderful to witness. We are extremely fortunate to have access to this amazing STEM dedicated facility and it is always great to spend time with Miss Feely!
2-6 Swimming Commences Friday
Students in Years 2, 3, and 4 are asked to come to school wearing their bathers and remember to bring a change of underwear to put on after their lessons.
Students in Year 5 & 6 are welcome to bring their bathers to school and get changed before boarding the bus.
Lesson times:
Years 2-4 - 12.30pm - 1.15pm
Year 5 & 6 - 1.15pm - 2.00pm
Year 2 - 4 students will eat their lunch at the BALC before returning to school. The Year 5/6 students will eat before leaving.
Please note: There will be no lunch orders for students in Years 2 to 6 on Friday swimming days.
Our swim programs have an increased focus on water safety, as opposed to distance and strokes. Water safety is vital before the commencement of the hotter summer months.
Special Persons Breakfast
Parents and special people in our students' lives are welcome to attend our special bacon and egg breakfast on Wednesday 5th November. Please ensure your orders are placed on XUNO to allow for correct catering. Students are welcome to show their persons through their classrooms and show off their amazing work.
Thanks to the Parents and Friends for putting on this event.
Kind Donations
We would like to thank the Beaufort & District Op Shop and the Parents and Friends for their kind donations to our Camps programs. These donations have assisted in lowering the costs for families.
