The Year 2 Sleep in is fast approaching - the 7th November, to be exact! 

Information about this has been sent to families of students in Year 2, and hard copies of the information note will also be sent home. Keep your eyes peeled! 👀

🔬Earth Ed Excursion🔍

Last week, students in the 1/2 Learning Community embarked on an adventure to Ballarat to attend the Earth Ed centre for a day of STEM investigations. Unfortunately, we didn't get to see Ms Feely, but we DID learn a lot about electricity and circuits, gravity and living in space, and how robots can help us every day!

🦒Life Education💻

On the 15th and 16th October, the 1/2 Learning Community attended our annual Life Education lesson with Harold the Giraffe! While there is no more Life Ed van, which I'm sure many of the grown ups would remember from their own primary school days, there are still lots of lessons to be learned from Harold and his friend, Sharon. 

This year, our lesson was on being safe online. We explored what it means to be online, the things we can do online, and what to do if we find something online that makes us feel a bit 'wobbly' in the tummy. Then we got to ask Harold some questions at the end! We did ask him if we could pop in to see his house, but he told us it was way too messy for visitors! Maybe next time...
