From Lumen Christi College to a Career in Event Production
Jessica (Jess) Heath, Class of 2012, has built a dynamic career in live event production, rising through the ranks to become an Associate with AVPartners at The Westin Perth. Her journey reflects a blend of creativity, technical expertise, and a passion for bringing world-class events to life.
A Journey of Learning and Growth
After graduating from Lumen Christi College, Jessica pursued studies in Sound and Radio at Murdoch University, later expanding into Film Production. Her professional path began with a traineeship at AVPartners, based at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre (PCEC). Over seven and a half years, she progressed from Senior Lighting Technician to Technical Event Manager, overseeing some of Perth’s most prestigious productions. Today, Jessica continues her work with AVPartners at The Westin Perth, managing high-profile conferences and events across the city.

Fond Memories of Lumen
Jessica fondly recalls her time in the sports department, especially participating in soccer and annual carnivals. “The sports team made every experience fun and rewarding,” she shares. She also credits the English department for helping her grow academically: “By the end of Year 12, my grades had improved dramatically thanks to their guidance and belief in my potential.”
Community Involvement
Outside of work, Jessica is active with the Southern River Hockey Club and The Golf Collective, staying connected through sport and community.
