From the Principal

As we are nearing the end of Term 1 with our final Anchor, it’s always a privilege to witness the milestones that define both our students’ journeys and cycles within our College community.
Last week, we had the pleasure of celebrating two key events: our Year 12 Formal and Open Day. While these occasions may appear quite different, they are beautifully intertwined in the broader story of learning and development. Together, they represent meaningful markers at either end of the rich and rewarding experience of being part of our College.
For our Year 12 students and their families, the Formal marked a moment of celebration, a time to reflect on years of dedication, friendships, and achievements. It was a recognition of the commitment and perseverance that have defined their time at the College. As they danced, laughed, and shared memories, they stood at the threshold of a new chapter, ready to step beyond these familiar walls and into the wider world. Their journey as a student at the College may conclude this year, but their path forward is just beginning. We are immensely proud of them and excited for all they will accomplish this year and into the future.
Conversely, Open Day provided us with the opportunity to welcome new families and prospective students getting ready to begin their journey with us. As they explored classrooms, met our staff, and learned about the experiences and opportunities that await, they took their first steps into a nurturing and dynamic learning environment.
Open Day was not just an invitation to join our community—it was an introduction to the possibilities and aspirations that will shape their future.
These two events remind us of the cyclic nature of education— every ending marks a new beginning. To our Year 12s: As you move through your final year at the College, know that the lessons, friendships, and values you have gained here will always be part of you.
And to our future students: As you prepare to embark on this new adventure, know that you are stepping into a place that will challenge, support, and inspire you to reach your full potential.
I extend my gratitude to all who made these events possible—our dedicated staff, our supportive families, and most importantly, our incredible students who continue to inspire us each and every day.
May we continue to celebrate these moments of transition and transformation, knowing that each journey is a stepping stone to a bright and promising future.
