Welcome to the Lara Secondary College Library
Opening hours: 8:30—4:15pm—daily
The library is open before school, at recess, lunchtime and after school until 4:15—for borrowing, returning, browsing, printing, to use the computers to complete school tasks and for quiet reading.
The Library is a great place to complete your homework before heading home for the day.
The Spine Crackers Book Club
Lara Secondary Colleges has there very own book club. We enjoy a snack together whilst discussing all things “books”. Meetings are held monthly, on the last Thursday of the month.

Requesting books for the Library
Do you have a book you’d like to read? Come into the library to see if we have it. If we don’t, let us know and we can investigate buying the book. If the book is available on SORA it can be in our ebook library within 24 hours. This book can be read via the SORA app.
