Successful Band Camp 2025
A massive THANK YOU to all involved in our 2025 Band Camp! It was such a wonderful success. We had around 70 children attend on the 22nd and 23rd March, and parents and carers joined us at school to watch all the children perform in the concert on Sunday afternoon. The children received intensive tutoring in their chosen instrument, along with full band rehearsals. An excellent beginning to the band school year.
We had our amazing crew of Band Camp Planners again this year working out catering, music and craft activities! A HUGE thanks to this amazing Band Camp Committee for all their hard work over the last couple of weeks.
Thank you so much to all our band families for helping out throughout the weekend, we couldn’t have done it without you.
We would like to thank Ms Jacinta Mikus and our Assistant Conductor Greg Larielle-Jones and all the tutors who did a fantastic job at conducting our bands and providing tutoring to all the children!
Upcoming Events
Anzac Day Assembly - Wednesday 9th of April The Concert Band will be performing and they are to wear full SCHOOL UNIFORM.
Easter Hat Parade - Thursday 10th April All bands will be performing at the Easter Hat Parade. Please make sure you bring your instruments and music on the day.
Election Cake Stall Fundraiser - Saturday 3rd May We will be collecting baked goods on Friday 2nd May for the cake stall on Election Day. A reminder to donate will be sent out to the school community the first week back of Term 2. Please check the Parent Helper Roster to see if/when you are rostered on for the stall.
Joining the Committee
At the end of the year, we will be saying goodbye to some very key people within the Committee. To ensure we have a seamless transition, we are looking for parents to consider supporting the following volunteers in a dual role.
- Harshal Desai Treasurer - Parent Volunteer (ending at the end of 2025)
- Fallon Lloyd-Thomas Secretary - Parent Volunteer (ending at the end of 2025)
- Joel Keys Convenor- Parent Volunteer (ending at the end of 2025)
