2025 Judo World Championship

Congratulations to Max Pogreb, Year 11, who has been selected by Judo Australia and approved by the International Judo Federation to represent Australia at the 2025 Judo World Championship!

This achievement is the result of Max’s unwavering dedication and hard work in pursuit of his dream.

The competition will take place in Sofia, Bulgaria, in late August 2025. All the best for the competition, Max. We'll be cheering for you! 

Golfing awards

Congratulations to Year 8 student David Zhu on a remarkable series of golfing achievements this July.

From 8 to 11 July, David competed at the 2025 Victorian Junior Amateur, one of Australia's major tournaments, where he was crowned Under 14 Boys Champion. On 14 July, he won the Boys title at the Northern Golf Club Junior Open.

David’s winning streak continued on 15 July at the Latrobe Golf Club Junior Open Amateur, where he secured the overall title and took out the Big Trophy as the Boys Winner over two days and 36 holes. He rounded off this impressive run with another victory on 17 July, winning the Boys Net category at the TeeMates Junior Tournament at Keysborough.
